    Stamp Duty Issue 1885 (Feb): Recess printing £ 100 aniline-crimson, wmk. V over Crown upright, perf. 12½, an unused example with manuscript "Specimen" diagonally, fine slightly suffused appearance, unused without gum. Rare (catalogued at £ 80'000 as normal), Ceremuga states "only a small number of "Specimens" recorded". Cert. Ceremuga (2012).
