    1845 "Koper" Postage Due label, used on cover, from Amsterdam to Samarang, Java, with good margins all round, manuscript "2.16" due, dated "11 July 1846", uncancelled as is the norm, blue "P.P." Paid at Port and Amsterdam datestamp "22/5" alongside, to reverse a fiant Singapore transit mark in black, some acid ink erosion through Samarang which has been reinforced behind with hinges, otherwise fine example of this rare label on a cover; signed Holcombe.
