Dec.):10c. on 5 Pf. green, PORTO NOVO overprint, five examples including two with varieties (broken"0" and wide spacing between "1" and "0") as correct 50c franking on registered letter to England. The Stamps are cleanly tied by a blue ANECHO the registration label is French with manuscript ANECHO. on the reverse Transit cancels LOME (24. Dec.), PLYMOUTH (16. Jan.) and an arrival Warrington. Fine and scarce letter. Certificate Eichele(2002).
