Jan.): 10 Pf. carmine, TOGO ANGLO - FRENCH OCCUPATION, setting 15mm wide and 5 Pf. green of the same issue, together tied to large enveloppe by LOME cds, addressed in his hand and endorsed by Lt Col. Bryant personally to the Lt Governor of Dahomey. Transit marks of ANECHO (21 Jan.) in blue, GRAND-POPO (22. Jan.) and an arrival PORTO-NOVO. This is an exceptionally scarce letter with hardly any entires of this issue known.
