    1860/1870: Three covers sent from Britain to India, comprising two sent from London, including an 1860 envelope franked with 2 d. blue, plate 8, 4 d carmine and x2 6 d. lilac plate 1, with scarce London Crown over Registered mark, the other an 1870 cover bearing two 1 d. red penny plates and two 1 s. green plate 4, additionally an 1865 small envelope sent from Bagnor franked with 4 d. vermilion plate 7 and 6 d. lilac plate 5, all addressed to military officers, very mixed with faults, although a scarce selection of covers with varied frankings.
