    1d. black, plate 1b, horizontal strip of six, lettered LG-LL, margins chiefly fair to good, touching in places, tied to folded entire letter to Edinburgh by black Maltese Crosses, reverse with boxed Prestonkirk despatch strike (4 Mar), same-day circular Edinburgh receiver, LH crossed by vertical filing fold, a rare franking, paying the 6d. rate for up to three ounces.
