    1817/72: The selection of pre-stamp and stampless covers (15) with two early 1817 entires to France with COLONIES / PAR ROCHEFORT entry marks in black (one with manuscript Forwarding Agent notation), 1838 cover landed at La Rochelle, 1845 in-bound prepaid cover from London via Reunion to St. Paul's with framed "M&I" and St. Denis transit, 1845 entire via Cork with "India Letter / Gravesend", 1851 cover ex Madras to Mauritius with "Ship-Letter" handstamp of arrival, entires (3) with PACKET LETTER / MAURITIUS in black or red, covers (2) with accountancy markings "GB / 1F. 62½c." or "GB / 40c." etc. A good lot.
