Postage brown registered postal stationery envelope, size H, used to Staffodshire cancelled by fine strikes of scarce "OBUASI /♚ / 18 AUG / 1914 / GOLD COAST" cds in black with scarce "Passed Censor" in manuscript - an early application with the First World War commencing in earnest just ten days prior. Plymouth and Birmingham datestamps (Sept 4) adjacent.
