    1891: Cover from Dix Cove, endorsed at top left "Dix Cove" in manuscript, sent stampless to St. Gallen, Germany (sic), struck with framed "AUS / WESTAFRIKA" in black and "Schiffsbrief" in violet. Address changed to "Schweiz" in manuscript and delivered correctly with Switzerland Postage Due 50 c. carmine & pale green tied by St. Gallen cds (Nov 7) in black. A most unusual cover.
