    Usage of Italian stamps as precursors in San Marino 1865 (Sept 5): Entire letter from San Marino to Pennabilli, bearing Regno 1865 (Jan) 20 on 15 c. 'celeste chiaro' type I (Sassone Regno 23), tied by light grill "S Mno" handstamp in black with "REBUBBLICA DI S. MARINO" cds in black (year slug inverted) alongside.
