    1864 (Sept 1): Cover from Perosa to Amsterdam, bearing 1863 DLR printing 60 c. 'lilla chiaro' and 10 c. 'ocra arancio', two fine and fresh adhesives, tied by PEROSA despatch cds without year, "P.D." handstamp and French "ITALIE 4 SEPT 64 LANSLEBOURG" entry cds, both in red alongside. Reverse with TORINO transit cds in black and AMSTERDAM arrival (Sept 5) cds in red. An appealing cover to the Netherlands, the franking paying correctly the 70 c. rate via France between 1861 and 1868.
