    Regno, usage of Sardinian adhesives 1862 (July 3): Entire letter from Milano to Padova under Austrian rule, bearing Sardinia IV. emission 40 c. 'rosso carminio', two fresh and overall fine example with good to large margins, in a deep shade, the left stamp with small pre-use crinkle at base, tied by light MILANO despatch cds in red (Sassone = 7 punti), "P.D." and ASSICURATA handstamps in red alongside. Reverse with PADOVA arrival cds of the following day. An interesting cover, the franking paying correctly the rate from the second Italian to the first Austrian rayon plus 40 c. for the registration.
