    1857: 20 c. indaco, a fine and fresh adhesive with good to large margins, well embossed, tied by light "VERBANO (No 2) 14 NOV. 57" Shipmail's cds to entire letter, written Locarno, Ticino, but posted directly on the Sardinian vessel on the Lago Maggiore and directed to Genova, reverse with TORINO - GENOVA ambulant cds of the same day.
