'carminio violaceo', plate III, a fresh and fine single example with large to huge margins, tied by clear ANNULATO 'a svollazo' handstamp type 36 with "LUCERA 1 APR. 1861" despatch (Sassone FG = R1) cds alongside, on cover directed to Napoli. Reverse with indistinct arrival (April 3) cds in red. An appealing cover with this cancellation rarity from Puglia. Signed A. Diena & Raybaudi; cert. Colla (2023) Sassone = € 750 + 16'500.
