    1840: 1d. black, plate 6, lettered SF, a superb example with large margins all round, cancelled by black MC on entire letter from Glasgow to Greenock, reverse with octagonal GLASGOW despatch datestamp (April 17, 1841) in red and boxed GREENOCK arrival datestamp in black from the same day. Vertical file folds well away from the adhesive, a desirable entire.
