    Ballon monté 1870 (Nov 3): Entire letter carried on board of balloon no. 23 'Le Fedinand Flocon' to Genappe, Belgium, franked with Napoléon laureated 30 c. brown, a fresh and fine example, tied by Paris SC cds in red, framed PD in red alongside. Reverse with NANTES transit, Belgium entry (Nov 7) and GENAPPE arrival (Nov 8) cds's. An attractive balloon entire sent abroad. Cert. Robineau (2002) Maury = € 400 + 1'100 + 250.
