    Stamp Duty Issue 1884: Recess printing £ 50 dull lilac-rose, wmk. V over Crown upright, perf. 12, an unused example overprinted by large "Specimen" diagonally in black, fresh and fine appearance, unused without gum. A very rare stamp (normal cancelled £ 70'000), Ceremuga states "only a very small number of "Specimens" recorded (thus), currently only 3 examples of this type". Cert. Ceremuga (2011).
