    Chalons. Recess by Perkins Bacon 1855 (Aug 17): Chalon 4 d. deep blue, wmk. Large Star, an unused horizontal pair showing slight misalignment, of fresh colour, margins large all round and minutely shaved at lower right otherwise very fine, unused without gum.
