    1877 (March 12): 4 d. sage-green, wmk. Large Garter, an unused block of six (3 x 2), lettered DA-DC / EA-EC, of senasational fresh colour and wonderful appearance, fine unmounted og. Rare and spectacular multiple, since the Trivett / Seymour / Beaumont block of nine (RA-RC /TA-TC) was split, blocks of six are the largest surviving unused multiples in private hands. Cert.
