Small Crown, perf. 14, lettered HD used on 1855 mourning envelope within London, readdressed on to York with 1 d. red-brown, Die II, Alphabet II, plate 2, wmk. Small Crown, perf. 16, lettered IE, tied by London '26' numeral obliterator in black. A scarce usage showing two different Dies and two different perforations, 14 and 16 on the same envelope. Not listed in Simpson/Louis GB Victorian mixed frankings (2020).
