    1840: 2 d. blue, plate 1, lettered IE, a used example with large margins mostly all round and just shaved at right, on 1842 cover from Truro to Falmouth tied by Maltese Cross in blue. Double arc "Truro" despatch cds (Sept 1) alongside in same colour. Fine and extremely rare. Slight ironed vertical crease not mentioned on certificate and minor wear on cover.
