    1874 (23 March): 20 k. blue and orange together with 1 k. black and orange (6), tied by cds. "MOSCOW MAR. 1873" to a commercial folded entire to Lyon, circular postmark "OPLACHEVO" (paid) applied twice and entry cds. "RUSSIE AMB. ERQUELINES 7 AVRIL 74" alongside, with transit and arrival cds. on reverse, some minor ink stains otherwise fine. Scarce combination paying a double weight letter at the 13 kopek rate introduced on 1 April 1874, this letter being a very early example.rnrnrn
