    1869 (21 September): 1 k. black and yellow (23) and 5 k. black and greyish-blue, tied by cds. "MOSCOW NIKOL. ZH. D. 21 SEPT. 1869" to a folded entire to Lyon, adjacent red railway transit mark "AUS RUSSLAND" and blue entry cds. "PRUSSE ERQUELINE" alongside, reverse transit and arrival cds., cover opened for display with an inside flap missing and some transportation traces, a few faults on some adhesives, incl. one 1 k. adhesive torned out. Very rare combination franking making up the 28 kopek tariff for France, with one of the largest recorded usage of any pre-UPU 1 kopek value on cover.
