    Karikal 1931: Cover to Paris franked by 1914 Inde 25 c. black & blue tied by "INDE / KARIKAL" cds (March 31), struck with two line "ACCIDENT EN MER / CORRESPONDANCE INONDÈE" in black on arrival in Marseille due to an accident at sea en route from Alexandria to Marseille where water penentrated the No. 2 hatch on board the P&O Steamer "S.S. Kelyan". Reverse with eventual Paris arrival cds (April 30). Rare.
