Three line cachet signed by the pilot "CARRIED BY AIR / FIRST FLIGHT Lord Howe Island TO / AUSTRALIA Francis Chichester PILOT / No. 123" below; autgraphed letter (May 28, 1947) from Sir Francis Chichester confirming the genuine status of the cover.
