    Internal Revenue 1881: Essay by De La Rue for the Internal Revenue high values, hand-painted on tracing paper in mauve and violet with INTERNAL REVENUE picked out in Chinese white, showing the frames hand-painted above for the proposed One Pound, One Pound Ten Shillings, Five Pounds and Ten Pound values; piece endorsed "C" and dated "June 8th / 81".
