    Chalons 1868/78: 3 d. brown, two horizontal pairs, perf. 13, used on 1876 cover to Port Hill, Prince Edward Island, tied in transit by "Sydney / NSW" duplexes (May 10) with oval framed "LOOSE SHIP / LETTER" alongside in black. Carried via Pacific route on the "City of San Francisco" and struck with "MORE TO PAY / 5" applied in blue in Windsor for the USA transit. Reverse, top flap missing and envelope reinforced behind the right hand pair, with Windsor (July 5) cds in blue, Montreal and Summerside arrival cds's (July 10). Listed in the Ben Palmer Queensland census on page 130.
