    1883: 3 d. on 3 d. lilac and 6 d- on 6 d. lilac, used on registered 1883 double rate cover to Cöln, Germany (+ 2 d. Late Fee) lightly tied by London numeral obliterators with oval "R" in black at left and private REGISTERED handstamp in violet. Lombard Street despatch at lower left (April 24) and reverse, seal removed, with Cöln arrival cds of the following day.
