    1898/99: 2 a. grey-lilac, three examples, imperforate on native paper, used with single 1901/07 recut 1 a. deep blue on 1905 single rate registered cover (additional 1 anna for 'AR'), from Gahawa (Birganj) to Kathmandu, all tied by circular barred "Ga" of GAHAWA handstamps (Hepper page 10, fig. 6) somewhat over-inked in black. Birganj despatch datestamps (Feb 1 and Feb 2) and obverse with Kathmandu arrival (Feb 3). Some minor imperfections but a rare rate and franking.
