    Anglo-Nepalese War 1814-1816: Covers (3) with first cover showing three well struck seals in black on reverse of cover from Salyana, second cover with superb impression of rectangular seal in black of an Officer in General Amar Singh Thapa's forces sent circa 1814 to the King of Nepal in Nuwakot and a third cover with fine full wax seal in black of Shri Kamini addressed to the Prime Minister of Nepal, Bhimsen Thapa. A scarce group.rnrnNote: Bhimsen Thapa (1775-1839), was Prime Minister of Nepal when the British East India Company invaded Nepal in 1814. Eventually subdued with heavy losses by the British, the Gorkha forces have fought alongside the British Army ever since. Bhimsen Thapa committed suicide whilst under arrest in British custody in 1839.
