    First Day Cover 1858 (Nov 1): Entire letter from Gonzaga to Mantova, dated internally 30 Oct. 1858, bearing 5 s. red type I, a fine example with vivid colour, good perforation and well embossed (minor perf. toning), tied by clear "GONZAGA 1 / 11" cds, reverse with arrival cds of the following day and distribution handstamp. A very rare usage. Ex collection Keith Tranmer. Cert. Ferchenbauer (2022) Sassone = € 40'000 / Ferchenbauer = € 15'000.
