    Provisional 'Cheque' Issue 1898 (March 11): Provisional 1 d. vermilion & grey-blue, Setting I, an unused example, corner marginal from position 1 on the sheet of 30 subjects, variety "Without Initials on Reverse", vertical continuous line at right just touched and negligible soiling, unused without gum. A great rarity with just 480 stamps issued - this possibly from a Proof stage of the printing. Signed L. Rosauer. Cert. BPA (1991) Gi = £ 8'000.
