    Arms of the Protectorate 1895: 1 d. black, no wmk., a single example and a horizontal strip of five, used on 1897 covcer to Edinburgh, tied by BLANTYRE / BCA circular datestamps (April 29) in black. Reverse with CHINDE / BCA transit cds (May 15) and "Edinburgh Newcastle Sorting Tender" cds (June 14). Slight flap faults and fold well away from the adhesives but scarce.
