    British East Africa Protectorate 1896/1901: 1 a. carmine-rose in a horizontal pair and single 5 a. yellow-bistre used on 1901 registered cover to Leipzig, Germany tied by RABAI / E.A. PROTECTORATE circular datestamps (Dec 6) with registration cachet at left. Reverse with Mombasa transit cds (Dec 7) and Leipzig arrival cds. Scarce and very fine.
