    Overprinted on India at the Zanzibar Gazette 1895/96: India 1 r. green & aniline carmine overprinted, an unused block of four, centred to upper left, showing variety "Overprint Double, One Sideways", of fresh bright colour and large part og. with lower pair unmounted og. "British East Africa" by John Minns records just one multiple, this being a different block from that recorded. An extremely scarce stamp in a multiple, superb Gi = £ 1'700+.rnrnNote: Just two blocks of this stamp are recorded, the other, ex collections Arthur Hind, A. Beauchamp Vialou, Col J.R. Danson, Sir Gawaine Baillie and John Wicks, shows attempts to remove the error.
