    Overprinted on India at the Zanzibar Gazette 1895/96: India 2 a. blue overprinted, a used example on 1895 provisionally handstamped 2½ a. yellow-green postal stationery envelope (H&G B2) sent registered to Ipswich, tied by MOMBASA squared circle datestamps in black (Dec 20). Oval "R" at left and London transit on obverse with Ipswich arrival (Jan 13, 1896) cds. Illustrated in "British East Africa" by John Minns on page 110.
