    1935: Composite stamp size Essays for the Pictorial Issue (7), submitted by De La Rue for proposed 2 c. - 2 r.. values, using the adopted picture of George V, with head-plate printed in various colours and photographic bromides for the pictorial vignettes (the 20 c. value showing coconut palms being printed in black), CEYLON, frames and value tablets all entirely hand-painted in difffering colours each applied to cards; largely as adopted.
