    Recess by De La Rue 1863/66: 5 d. red-brown, wmk. Crown CC type 5, perf. 12½, a used horizontal pair, variety "Watermark Reversed", one or two short perfs. but left hand stamp with unusual coloured flaw on "E" of FIVE at base, the barred obliterator cancellations leaving this variety clear Gi = £ 170+.
