    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1859 (April 23): 2 s. dull blue, wmk. Star, imperforate, an unused example with large margins all round, of splendid fresh colour, tiny vertical scissor cut at upper left away and thin spot at upper right, both away from the design, unused without gum. Despite the imperfections, a stamp of lovely appearance. Cert.
