    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1857: 1 s. slate-violet, wmk. Star, imperforate, used examples (4), two single examples in differing shades, each with large even margins all round and each with corner bends of no significance, and a horizontal pair (scarce thus) with shaved margin at right but in a brighter shade, all cancelled in black. An attractive group Gi = £ 800+.
