    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1859 (April 23): 9 d. purple-brown on white paper, wmk. Star, imperforate, a used example of strong colour with large even margins all round, neatly cancelled by barred obliterator in black. A very scarce stamp. Cert. BPA (1979) Gi = £ 900.
