Recess by Perkins Bacon 1859: 6 d. light brown, wmk. Star, imperforate, a used example in a pale shade and showing some plate wear, with good to large margins all round and probably from lower right corner of the sheet, lightly cancelled in black. A very scarce shade. Cert. BPA (2022) Gi = £ 1'500.
