    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1857/59: 6 d. brown on white paper, wmk. Star, imperforate, a used example in a deep shade with good margins all round and large portion of adjoining stamp at right, on small piece with 1857 1 d. deep turquoise-blue in a horizontal strip of three, just touched to mostly large margins, cancelled by barred obliterators and part red datestamp. An attractive and scarce piece.
