    Recess by Perkins Bacon 1857/59: Plate Proof for 6 d. value imperforate in black on slightly rough wove paper, a remarkable block of thirty (10 x 3), positions 13-22 / 25-34 / 37-46, showing sheet margin at left and large margins all round but for slight nick at base of position 46, however the block has been rejoined to its original format (see  reverse); nevertheless a spectacular and most attractive multiple.
