    Recess by Perkins Bacon on blued paper 1857 (April 1): 6 d. purple-brown on blued paper, wmk. Star, imperforate, a fine used example with large margins all round and showing portion of adjoining stamp at left, lightly cancelled by grid obliterator in black. A very scarce stamp so fine Gi = £ 450.
