    Mahé 1867: Incoming prepaid cover from Amsterdam to Mahé, Côte de Malabar endorsed "via Marseilles, Suez par mail anglaise", with Amsterdam despatch cds in red (April 18) and framed "FRANCO" and "P.P." in black; thence via Paris and Marseille. Carried on the P&O steamer "Madras" from Suez to Bombay (arrived May 11). Struck on arrival with superb strike of "INDE / MAHÉ" cds in black (May 17). Rare and most attractive. Cert. RPSL (2007).
