    Karikal 1856/64: India 1 a. blue (Gi. 37), a single example used on 1859 cover from Karikal to Pondichery tied by bold strike of "C / 147" obliterator in black. Reverse with "KARRICAL" cds of despatch in red (Aug 5) and Pondichery arrival (Aug 6) cds. A fine and attractive cover.
