    Chandernagor 1872/77: Cérès 10 c. brown on rose, a horizontal pair just touched at base otherwise fine, used with Dubois 1881 5 c. green on greenish, tied to 1881 cover to Bordeaux endorsed "Via Bombay & Brindisi", by "INDE / CHANDERNAGOR" cds's with information strike below (Aug 8) in blue. Carried on the P&O steamer "Thibet" from Bombay to Suez and the "Rohilla" to Alexandria. Signed Calves, Jamet, Georges Lamy.
