    1865: India 1865 ½ a. blue (Gi. 54) used on 1870 cover to Mauritius endorsed "via Tranquebar" tied by "Pondicherry / 111" duplex (July 15) in black. "Tranquebar" transit in red above (July 16) and struck oin arrival with fine "6d. / TO PAY" in blue. Reverse with Mauritius arrival (Aug 22) in blue. Small acid ink fault but an attractive usage.
