    Beirut Provisional 1906 (July 2): Great Britain 2 d. grey-green & carmine on ordinary paper, overprinted LEVANT and further surcharged "1 Piastre" locally by the American Press, a used example tied to small piece by "Beyrout / British Post Office" code C cds in black (July 2, 1906). A fine example of a scarce stamp with just 600 stamps surcharged. Signed Proschold. Cert. BPA (2022) Gi = £ 700.
